Summer Wars at MIT

Summer Wars, a film I would have shown already were it available, will have a special screening in MIT on March first; the film is not yet even in limited release, so this may be your only chance to see it for a while.

Summer Wars is the latest film from the director of The Girl Who Leapt through Time, and involves a boy hired to pose as a fiance to a girl with a very intense extended family. The directory and producer will be present at the screening and available for questions afterwards.

Our limited budget doesn't really have room to fund a trip like this, but contact me if you're interested in going and we can group up. I have regular Monday night commitments, but this is well worth evading them.

UPDATE:* Summer Wars has just swept the Tokyo International Anime Festival Awards, with The Time of Eve and Eden of the East also taking home prizes. Another reason to go to MIT! 無
