Oddifier

Oddifier is a bot that generates characters for the Into the Odd tabletop RPG using portraits from the Internet Archive Book Images Flickr account.

The equipment and powers are inspired by but not strictly faithful to the core rules. The names come from a couple of national name lists on Wikipedia. The image composition is done using ImageMagick via LiveScript, which was a huge pain, but it was the easiest way to get the stamps right.

This bot was quietly retired in January 2018, but the history should still be usable. There's another Into the Odd character generator here you can compare. Ψ
